Mandre

The road to the south of the Pag island descends to the lovely dark green of Mandre, with a view on the sea and the uninhabited island of Maun and Skrda. Surrounded by the lacework of the dry stone walls and full of island scents, it leads us to the quiet oasis of Mandre Port. The turquoise sea dips deep into the land, the white fishing boatsand the almost black holm oak and pines are the crown of the port. It is an excellent haven in time of storm. It hasserved fishermen and mariners for centuries, and today serves yachtsmenlooking for a quiet and shady mooring.

Mandre is a kind of extension of Kolan´s spirit to the edge of the sea. It fits exceptionally well into the world of today. Apart from traditional style fishing, it is also open to tourism. Lovely villas recessed into dense thickets of holm-aok set along the sea offer you hospitality of a high quality. The sea is exceptionally clear, full of bays and beaches, and suitable for all kinds of water-sports. There is a great diversity of wining and dining in Mandre and Kolan. There are all those unique island specialities that bear the proud epithet of „Pag“. The sea here is rich in all kinds of fish and shell-fish. Mandre are located in the island and the island cities of Pag and Novalja are thus not for off.
